Delete Your Bark Park Buddies Account

If you'd like to delete your Bark Park Buddies account and associated data, you have two options.

Option 1: Delete in-app (recommended)

Open the Bark Park Buddies app
Go to the Profile tab
Tap "Delete my account"
Confirm the deletion

Your account and data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2: Email request

Email support@barkparkbuddies.app from the email address associated with your Bark Park Buddies account with the subject line "Delete my account."

Requests are processed within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials
Your profile information (name, photo)
Your dog profiles and dog photos
Your check-in history
Your park reviews and photos you've uploaded
Your friend and best-friend relationships
Your playdate invitations and history
Your safety reports and lost dog alerts
Your favorite parks
Your notification preferences and push tokens

What may be retained

Anonymized data that cannot be linked back to you (such as aggregate usage statistics)
Records required by law (such as transaction records, if any)
Backups for up to 30 days, after which all data is permanently removed
